Concept Description: The memorial is a spiral-shaped structure symbolizing the journey from despair to hope. The spiral begins at the bottom with jagged, rusted steel, representing the suffering and dehumanization of the Holocaust. As the structure ascends, the materials transition to smooth, polished glass, symbolizing resilience, memory, and the enduring light of humanity.
The spiral is designed to be interactive. Visitors can walk through the structure, experiencing the emotional journey it represents.
